Get your party on with Rave-A-Roo in London this half-term.
Do you ever find it hard to keep your children busy during school holidays?
I wrote about some ideas for activities that won’t break the bank a little while ago, but it can be difficult to keep finding new things for them to do.
With February half-term only a couple of weeks away, I’ve been wondering about how best to keep Sophia and Dexter entertained. Thankfully, we have a exciting outing planned for one of our days.
We’ve been invited to the launch of a new kind of family friendly party: Rave-A-Roo.
Rave-A-Roo is billed as being a ‘clubbing mash-up of festival fun for all the family’. It’s an event that kicks off at the Ministry of Sound in London on Friday 19 February with further dates due to be announced at venues across the UK.
I haven’t told Sophia and Dexter about it yet as I think it’ll be a nice surprise. There’ll be lot going on, including DJs, live stage performances, Disco Ball Games, a Big Fish Little Fish takeover and PlayGlow toys.
There’ll also be an undercover buggy park, a chill-out room for youngsters, crafts for under-10s and a fully licensed bar (also serving tea and coffee) for the grown-ups.
I’ll be writing a review about the event once we’ve been. In the meantime, I’m giving one reader the chance to win a family ticket (two adults and two children) to come along and join the Rave-A-Roo party on Friday 19 February.
Win a Rave-A-Roo family ticket
The family ticket I am giving away will be for two adults and two children to come along to the 1-3pm Rave-A-Roo session at the Ministry of Sound in London (the event is two hours long with two sessions during the day, 1-3pm and 4-6pm).
Rave-A-Roo tickets are ordinarily priced at £7.50 (earlybird), £10.00 (advanced) and £12.50 (on the door), with babes in arms entitled to free entry.
The nearest tube station to the venue is Elephant and Castle, but please note that the prize does not include travel or other expenses.
The giveaway is open until midnight (GMT) on Friday 5 February 2015. To be in with a chance of winning this prize, all you need to do is enter via the Rafflecopter form below.
The terms and conditions of the giveaway are listed within the Rafflecopter form and I’d recommend taking a read before you enter. For instance, the giveaway is open to UK residents only.
Good luck!
